Directions to Sanso Shirasa

※Please note, the bus from Matsuyama to Ishizuchi only operates during the periods of April 1 to November 30 during weekends and holidays. Weekdays CLOSED.
From Saijo Inter-highway (approx. 1 hour 40 minutes)
Take Kokudo 11-go to Kokudo 194-go towards Kochi. approx. 40minutes. Take the Kanpuu Tunnel on the Kochi Prefectural border. From there, turn left at the "Ichi-no-tani Yakata"( 一の谷やかた) billboard. Follow the rindou(forest path) up to the old Kanpuu Tunnel. Right before it should be the Kamegamori Rindou curving down left. Take this road down to the Onesuji mountain trail. Keep going and you should see the Kamegamori Tozan Parking Lot on the right. From there, it is another 15 minutes to Shirasa.
From Matsuyama City (approx. 2 hours 30 minutes)
Take Kokudo 33-go toward Kumakogen-cho.
From Omogokei, take the Ishizuchi Skyline to Tsuchigoya.
Follow the "Kanpuuzan/Kamegamori" sign and from Yosakoi-toge, you should arrive in approx. 10 minutes.
(Please note the Ishizuchi Skyline is closed at night).

From Kochi City (approx. 2 hours 30 minutes)
Take Kokudo 194-go along the Niyodo-river toward Gohoku. You should reach the old Hongawa-mura Nagasawa district in approximately 1.5 hours. Take a left at the prefectural road (Kendo Ishizuchi Koensen) sign. Go along the Nagasawa Dam and pass the Erimon District. In roughly 50 minutes, you should reach Yosakoi-toge. You should see a T-shaped intersection. From there, take a right and you will arrive in 15 minutes.
